Military History Club

This club is open to any

students from 6^th grade to 8^th grade.  Each week, students will choose a battle from history to explore in depth.  Each week a student volunteers to put together a basic power point presentation to share with the club. The student presentation will be a 5–10-minute overview of the battle.  This is NOT required, but optional for students who want to be more deeply involved.  We will look at all aspects of the battle – tactics, terrain, leadership, weaponry, training and anything else that affected the outcome. We will also discuss the impact of the battle and the overall war it was a part of and discuss how military conflict has helped society.  Each week we get a student volunteer to bring treats for the club as well, so we get to have an afternoon snack while we learn more about history.
